hi again! allow me to elaborate a bit further on who i am.
when i was born, my dad was very hopeful that i’d follow in his footsteps and that i’d end up as a strong athlete or an electrical engineer.
considering that you’re here, you probably now realize that my mom’s genes won out.
i grew into somebody captured by niche hobbies and smaller communities. some of the things i nerd out on are:
- coffee – i’ve recently started remineralizing jugs of distilled water to get the most flavor out of my coffee.
- cafe culture – after working with some cafe-owner friends of mine, i’ve been fascinated by how coffee shop and restaurant owners cultivate specific experiences for their customers. it’s safe to say that i’m happy to be in a city as cafe-rich as la.
- photography – i love taking photos out in nature, but i don’t actually love being outside very much. it’s a minor issue.
- video games – normally, i’m into multiplayer games so i can enjoy them with friends, but i’ve been having an absolute blast with elden ring.
- cardistry – a nice portmanteau of “cards” and “artistry.” think juggling, but with playing cards. if you remember the opening scene of Now You See Me, that’s cardistry.
i take this fascination with me as i grow in my career in strategic communications. i’m excited to work with and learn from niches as i find out what makes them tick.
